Hey fellow riders and horse lovers!
We are the rearing horse club Middlesex Mustangs from Middlesex County! You may have seen or competed with us at several horse shows all over the state! As a club, we like to jump into competition in the Sr. and Jr. Hunt Seat and Western divisions as well the the Walk Trot and Lead Line divisions. We love team work and sportsmanship in the club events, as well as cheer as loud as the judges will alow when a fellow member is in the ring! Much of our time is spent on improving our knowledge of the equine studies, or in a nut shell, learning about horses. Many of our club members compete in the horsebowl and hippology, horse judging, and visual presentation events held by the county to further educate themselves in the horse world. As a club, we enjoy going on and hosting exciting sleigh rides, fast paced trail rides, and fun clinics. Every year we get together for a public service event and fundraising where we always find something new and exciting to do!
Members of all ages join us once or twice a month for a club meeting in the heart of Lunenburg where we discuss upcoming events and club members give presentations of horse subjects that they know, knew, or just learned about! We have just roped in about four new members this year and couldn't be happier. Our club has grown a lot since it has first started, and new members are always welcome! All of our members no matter if they ride or not come to support and compete at the annual Westford County Fair, where many of the members are activley involved in the various shows , animal projects and static exhibits . In our club, we succssesfully graduated our first member last year . All of us are excited as can be for another successful show year with loads of riding, horses, and ribbons!
